The best features of the net bundled in a single search field:

Search matrix

Annoyed by the link-chaos and somewhat awkward operation of search engines? The speedy entrance to the network via the "toggle buttons" of our search matrix saves valuable time.

Nearby search

Curious? Frequently on the go? Then you will like the "nearby search". On your mobile device you can find all the information about your nearby area (for example, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacies). Via click on a place netsparrow leads you there by the route planner.

Icomatrix

Truffle pigs: watch out! With the compact Icomatrix you have hundreds of pre-configured queries in access and will discover new interesting websites and their services.

Search matrix

The search matrix queries the result to your search term directly by the functions of the selected website. Default is Google. Therefore, if you click "Go", you immediately get the search results from Google. In principle, the page will behave similarly to the Google home page, but it offers additional benefits as direct branching into various additional searches, which can be extremely time-saving in daily use. If you select "Translate", you directly receive a translation, if you select "Amazon", you'll immediately find the associated products, or if you select a price search engine you get the price comparisons of the product in the search field. Test it yourself. You can personalize / supplement the Web links in the search matrix. Double-click on a name in the matrix of netsparrow and you will directly reach the associated website.

Nearby search

Select "nearby / mobile" in the menu and NetSparrow will determine your current location. Based on the selected location types nearby places (e.g. restaurants, ATMs, shops) will show up on the map. This view is especially useful when you are on the go. If you click on a "place marker" in your environment, you will receive useful information about that place or you get the route from the current to the selected location (by clicking on the link "directions" in the marker). Further down you can find various useful location-based services such as the Google maps, timetables for public transport or additional place infos e.g. from Yelp.

Icomatrix

The "Icomatrix" of NetSparrow displays a large number of search links in a compact representation. It works similar to the search matrix. You choose the search service of a website by clicking on the corresponding icon. The right website you recognize either directly by the icon or you can move the mouse over the icons and the name of the Web page will show up per icon. You arrive directly on a webpage by double-clicking an icon (but then without usage of the search function). Advantage of this view is the presentation of a high number of Web links on one page. However, you have to recognize the wanted website simply by its icon. During the first load the page might be slow due to the high number of icon images. Once netsparrow has the icons in your local cache the view will build very fast again.
